(More customer reviews)i have owned the f-gothic body series guitars from the 50 right up to this one.i got a deal on this guitar,and since i love the looks and the playability of this tone monster,i grabbed it.
i learned to play on a f-50,and an ibanez destroyer dt-120,6 years ago.i was always perplexed by the price of the f-50,because,it felt better to play than some other more expensive models i have in the past.the f-350,is no slouch.from its set mahogany neck,and beautifully shaped and contoured mahogany body,which rings awesome warm sustains,and low end crunches,to highs that light up a solo,it has an amazing feel,a thin fast neck,powerful emg81 humbucker pick ups in both bridge and neck,and a bottom cutaway which allows access to those hard to reach high notes.
this is a well crafted guitar,and puts to shame anything in its price range,not tomention higher priced guitars.it is an incredible value.a metallers dream,and a whole lot of fun to play,and look at.
i have put 9's,10's,11's,and many different types of strings on this and i am thrilled every time i saddle her up and take her for a ride.
if you are buying a first guitar,and do not want to start out with a 200.00 special,(which will likely shoot down your dream to learn)this is a guitar that will give you many years of good service,and help you become a good player,at least i believe that.
