I bought the first one with a Hard Case, but was really disappointed. 5 Rivets broken on it, so you could tell the long journey from Asia took its toll. But I really like the board itself, and simply re-ordered one with a soft case. I only gig about 4 times a month, so I make sure I'm a little more careful with the board when schlepping it around. Velcro is another issue, in that, depending on the size of you pedal, you might have pedals that come loose during transport. This is because of the spacing between rows.
They need to invent a device that fits the underside of the smaller pedals, that attaches from the back side, and adheres to the board and pedal.
All in all, this is a solid piece of gear, and well worth the investment. I have lots of gear heads drooling at the finished product.
