I had the opportunity to use one of these on numerous occasions. Amp 1 is like a classic tweed amp sound (i.e. a fender twin). Amp 2 is marshall plexi-sounding... and amp 3 sounds like a Mesa solo head. I can't imagine a more versatile amplifier than this. With the monster foot controller, I could go from a perfect clean sound, over to a jimi hendrix sound, and then into the nastiest heavy metal sound ever. I was extremely impressed with how hardcore amp 3 is! It seriously rocks. For the money, there is no amp with more range than this.

The Hughes and Kettner Triamp MK II Tube Head's tight, punchy output is produced by 4 - EL34s that feed 3 dual-channel modes. Amp 1 gives you vintage California clean, Amp 2 cranks out classic rock tones, and Amp 3 delivers tons of high gain and overtones. They're all switchable with the included stageboard. With 100W output and a switchable parallel/serial effects loop that's MIDI controllable, the MK II is a totally pro tone machine that'll give you an incredible range of tone for live and studio dates.
