(More customer reviews)This thing is CRAZY! It is the loudest speaker I have ever heard. Deepest bass I have ever felt. Have to keep it turned way down. Would be good for parties. For mixing I feel like I almost dont use it. Though it does give you great control of the super lows, but not all samples have super lows. I love it. Could ask for nothing more. But it is huge. Bigger in size than I imagined. But worth it,,,

With a high-excursion 10" woofer, and an internal 180 watt amplifier, the LSR2310SP powered subwoofer produces deep, powerful bass and extends the low frequency response of your system below 28 Hz. The included metal grille protects against potential damage to the woofer when the sub placed beneath a desk or work station. The LSR2310SP Subwoofer incorporates a professional bass management system with selectable cross-over settings to optimize low frequency performance in a range of production environments.When used in a surround sound system the LSR2310SP provides stunning reproduction of the LFE (low frequency effects) channel. The LSR2310SP is packed with professional features including two sets of balanced XLR, 1/4" and unbalanced Phono (RCA) input connectors, selectable crossover settings and two sets of balanced outputs to allow connection of Left and Right main speakers.A detented level control allows independent adjustment of the subwoofer output to balance the subwoofer in the system. The LSR2310SP Subwoofer produces exceptional sound pressure level (SPL) through JBL-engineered high-sensitivity woofer, high-output amplifiers and careful attention paid to the thermal properties of the system. To ensure years of reliable performance, before becoming a production-ready design, the LSR2310SP survives the JBL Power Test in which the speaker must play at full output for 100 hours continuously, without failure.
